Undermount style 

 Undermounted sinks can be used in any area of the home with any countertop surface and can be installed with a reveal (exposed edges) or no reveal as you wish!

 

Surface Mount (drop-in) style

 

Surface mount sinks (drop-in) also known as self rimming sinks can also be used anywhere in the home.

As a general rule surface mounted sinks are less expensive than their comparable undermount brother, however, the hole cut for these sinks is usually much larger than for undermount sinks. If you are thinking you might want an undermounted sink in the future - it may not be possible to find one big enough to fit the hole.

 

 

Vessel bowl style

Vessel bowls are generally used in powder rooms and bathrooms. Consideration must be given to the functional height of the bowl and faucet when choosing these sinks. 

 

    

Vessel bowls are available in glass, porcelain, ceramic, stainless steel, copper, acrylic and other materials.   

 

Farmhouse Style

        
  

When considering retro-fitting a farmhouse sink into existing cabinets, remember there will need to be some adjustments made to the front of the cabinet to accomodate this large apron fronted sink.

 

Also, due to the weight of these sinks they are frequently supported in  a wooden cradle or shelf support system.

Integrated Style 

 Integrated sinks are available for the kitchen, bath, bar, laundry and so on. They are hard seamed to the acrylic countertop (Corian and like brands) allowing for a smooth transition from the countertop to the sink.

These sinks generally have a matte finish and are most frequently found in bright white, cameo white and bisque. Specialty colors are available and custom sinks can be fabricated to meet your preferences for depth and style.
